The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order states that every business should hold a fire safety log book and that this should remain on your premises at all times.
The log book should be available for inspection from any Fire Officer who inspects your premises when there is a necessary reason, the log book ensures you are compliant and your business adheres to the legislation requirements. The fire safety log book should be displayed alongside fire zone drawings of your business.
