Quantec – Call Points
Quantec is a powerful yet easy to use addressable call system that helps ensure vital communication throughout a building. The way the system operates can be tailored to suit a care facility’s specific requirements with different day, night and call divert arrangements easily accommodated to meet the exact operational needs and precise layout of any building. Designed in conjunction with the NHS.
Quantec’s call points have two buttons, a red/green confidence light and (depending on the version purchased) a remote socket for connecting ancillary devices such as tail call leads. The type of call point used will depend on the type of operation (button or magnetic reset) and the system features you wish to take advantage of.
Quantec – Door monitoring stations and Over door Lights
The Door Monitoring stations can be used to monitor any device with a open or closed switch. They are able to generate either a standard or emergency level call (for example if a fire door or drugs cabinet door is opened) and can be used to interface other devices to the system. It comes with an isolation keyswitch and button reset.
The Over Door Lights can be used to increase the call indication levels of the system. They are typically positioned outside rooms and include two ultra-bright LEDS in a triangular diffuser.
Quantec – Addressable Sounders
The Quantec Addressable Sounders are designed to increase call indication levels in large sites.
The Standard sounders include Quantec’s default call tones and a volume control. The Hi-output sounders operate at up to 85dB and can be programmed with a wide selection of alarm tones.
Quantec – Pull Cords and Tail Leads
The Quantec Pull Cord will generate a standard level call when a resident ‘pulls’ the cord, these are most commonly used in bathrooms. Please note that they have no on board reset function so a remote reset point is required.
The Tail Call Lead buttons comprise a pear-shaped push, a lead and a plug that connects it to a call point’s remote socket.
